Associate, Compliance Technology Data Science

About the Role:

As part of the Compliance Technology team, you will help design, build, and maintain dashboards and metrics that support BSA/AML regulations. Your work will be highly visible within the organization, requiring cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance and regulatory reporting standards are met. Ideal candidates will have strong data analytics, SQL, and data visualization skills. Experience in cryptocurrency and anti-financial crime is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce data extracts and metrics for regulators and internal reporting using SQL
• Translate complex reporting requests into clear, actionable requirements
• Create standardized, globally compliant reporting systems
• Build and maintain compliance reports in a cross-functional environment
• Meet multiple deadlines while ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Prioritize and manage ad-hoc requests alongside ongoing tasks

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics or reporting (consulting, financial services, or tech)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in compliance, transaction monitoring, KYC, risk rating, or regulatory reporting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (start-up experience is a plus)
• Ability to lead complex analytical projects across multiple teams
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics)

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in Risk and Compliance
• Experience with GitHub and programming in Python
• Knowledge of cryptocurrencies is a plus

Pay Range: $127,075 - $149,500 USD, plus target bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
