Role Overview:

• Focus on EMEA risk management for Galaxy Digital Trading (GDT).
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders on risk analysis and portfolio construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop risk management framework for Galaxy’s Trading EMEA.
• Identify and manage financial/non-financial risks across business lines.
• Leverage on-chain data for risk management and decision-making.
• Build tools for DeFi protocol data extraction.
• Maintain systems to calculate risk metrics.
• Communicate risk assessments to senior management.
• Monitor risks across multiple time zones.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in market or non-financial risk management.
• Deep knowledge of digital assets and DeFi.
• Degree in finance, computer science, or a quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in market risk management or risk-taking roles.
• Familiarity with financial data and processes.
