Base Country Ambassador - Coinbase

Coinbase is seeking a passionate and driven Base Country Ambassador to help grow Base’s presence in Kenya. As a key driver of adoption, you’ll organize events, build partnerships, and onboard developers and users to our onchain platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to engage developers and grow Base’s presence in Kenya
• Plan hackathons, meetups, and virtual events to attract builders
• Drive advertising and growth initiatives for onboarding
• Identify and manage local partnerships with apps, accelerators, VCs, and more
• Recruit and manage the technical community
• Curate grants for local startups and builders
• Manage and grow online community channels
• Provide market insights and feedback to the product teams

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years in tech and crypto
• Passion for Base and building a global onchain economy
• Proven experience scaling community-driven projects
• Strong network and understanding of the local crypto and developer market
• Self-starter with solutions-oriented mindset and humility
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships
