About Base:
Base aims to build a global onchain economy that fosters innovation and economic freedom. We believe the onchain platform is the most important infrastructure since the internet and is critical to creating a decentralized, accessible cryptoeconomy.

Base is incubated within Coinbase and is progressively decentralizing to scale the global cryptoeconomy. We are built on Optimism's open-source OP Stack and contribute to funding public goods.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Global Ecosystem Growth Lead to expand Base’s global footprint. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to grow Base’s presence worldwide, focusing on strategic partnerships, community engagement, and supporting key partners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Base’s global expansion strategy.
• Work with Coinbase regional leaders to strengthen Base’s presence in existing markets.
• Engage with Base’s global community to foster new advocates and leaders.
• Cultivate relationships with key partners and resolve business, legal, and technical challenges.
• Provide expansion recommendations influencing product and business goals.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a market starter, country lead, or founder role.
• Proven experience building and scaling community-driven projects.
• Passion for creating a global onchain economy.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage complex projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability.

Compensation:
The target annual salary for this role ranges from $144,500 to $170,000 USD, with additional bonus, equity, and benefits.
