Coinbase is looking for a Crypto Twitter Lead to drive and strategize the company’s presence on Twitter, working closely with executive and communications teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced crypto Twitter native with a strong understanding of social media best practices. This role requires someone passionate about crypto and economic freedom, with a proven track record of engaging and building social media followings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead crisis and issue management communications on social media.
• Develop and execute proactive and reactive social media strategies.
• Craft clear, concise messages that amplify executive voices.
• Create engaging content that counters misinformation and directly connects with the audience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on high-priority issues.
• Flexible working hours as crypto operates 24/7.

Must-Haves:

• Strong knowledge of social media and the crypto space.
• Proven experience building social media followings, especially on X.
• Excellent copywriting and meme creation skills.
• Direct communication style with a thick skin for feedback.
• Deep experience in crypto Twitter.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Established relationships in social media and PR.
• Understanding of the regulatory, political, and technical aspects of cryptocurrency.

This is a remote position with a salary range of $134,000–$165,000 CAD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
