About the Role

We’re hiring an experienced AML/CTF Compliance Professional to join our Coinbase Ireland team, reporting to the Head of AML/CTF Compliance. This role spans three legal entities in Ireland, including an E-Money Institution and two Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs). You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Irish and international regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on AML-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AML/CTF initiatives, including developing and implementing a risk assessment framework.
• Manage compliance policies and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
• Oversee the AML/CTF program to meet Irish and international requirements.
• Monitor adherence to the firm’s AML/CTF obligations.
• Conduct reviews of high-risk clients and suspicious transaction reports.
• Stay informed about evolving laws and regulations, updating policies as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Subject matter expertise in AML/CTF with experience in compliance programs.
• Strong understanding of Irish regulations, including the Criminal Justice Act 2010 (as amended).
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in digital assets and blockchain technology.
• At least 4 years of experience in AML compliance roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional compliance certification or membership in a recognized body is advantageous but not required.
