Data Scientist II- Coinbase

At Coinbase, we’re on a mission to increase economic freedom globally by building the on-chain platform that powers the future of finance. We’re looking for a passionate Data Scientist to help us achieve this mission by influencing product decisions with data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze product data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Design experiments and analyses to measure impact and drive product improvements.
• Develop key metrics, reports, and enhance data infrastructure for better analysis.

What We’re Looking For:

• BA/BS in a quantitative field (Math, Stats, Physics, Computer Science) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience driving impact in a digital product with an iterative development cycle.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and ML.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Demonstration of our core values: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, and efficient execution.

Salary Range: $140,250—$165,000 USD (depending on location) + bonus, equity, and benefits.
