Director, Corporate Security at Stellar Development Foundation

Role Overview:

• Lead and shape SDF’s IT & cybersecurity strategy.
• Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the organization.
• Serve as a bridge between senior executives and the operational security team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cybersecurity Risk Management: Implement NIST CSF framework, conduct regular risk assessments, and manage security reviews.
• Risk Communication: Report risks and propose mitigation strategies to executives.
• Mitigation Implementation: Oversee security tools, policies, and backup solutions, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvements.
• Incident Response: Lead response efforts and coordinate recovery plans.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in IT/corporate security, including leadership roles.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure, SaaS, security tools, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Strong technical knowledge and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA).
• Experience with network protocols, security architecture, and incident response.

Bonus:

• Open-source project experience.
• Master's degree in Computer Science/IT.
• Experience with SEIM, Wazuh, and audit tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $195,000 - $235,000.
