About the Role
The Government Relations (GR) team drives strategic engagement with global stakeholders, including governments, regulators, industry associations, and NGOs. We seek an experienced professional to lead policy engagement in the EU region.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor regional policies, regulations, and sentiment affecting the blockchain industry.
• Lead MiCA and DORA consultations, policy development, and business implementation.
• Engage with ESMA and EU prudential regulators on blockchain initiatives.
• Manage outreach projects, events, and stakeholder engagements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across legal, compliance, technology, and communication teams.
• Represent Binance Europe as a government relations and policy spokesperson.

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience in government relations, regulatory bodies, or industry associations within the EU.
• Expertise in blockchain/cryptocurrency policies, including MiCA legislation.
• Prior experience with ESMA and at least one key EU prudential regulator.
• Deep understanding of the crypto industry, its technologies, and associated policies.
• Proven ability to lead campaigns, work independently, and manage teams.
• French and English fluency preferred.
• Experience at the European Commission or ESMA strongly preferred.
