Responsibilities:

• Assist with country licensing applications by preparing risk management policies and responding to regulator inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with local risk and regulatory frameworks, including CSSF requirements for EMIs.
• Manage the overall risk framework and serve as the key SME for risk operations.
• Lead risk assessments, RCSAs, continuity policies, incident management, and SOP development.
• Maintain and update risk management policies, notifying the business of regulatory changes.
• Act as the central point of contact for risk-related issues and liaise with regulators.
• Prepare reports and provide strategic direction on risk matters to senior management.
• Monitor KPIs and KRIs, and coordinate responses to regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on risk management projects.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by senior management or the Board of Directors.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of risk management experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements.
• Solid understanding of operational risk, capital markets, and liquidity provision activities.
• Self-starter capable of operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a global team.
• Fluency in English (French is a plus).
• Based in Luxembourg.
