Engineering Manager, Salesforce Platform - Coinbase

At Coinbase, we’re building the future global financial system. We’re seeking a passionate, results-driven Engineering Manager to lead a team of 6+ engineers focused on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for the Coinbase B2B product line.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead an Agile engineering team across time zones, managing development, mentoring team growth, and driving technical excellence.
• Architect and deliver fit-for-purpose, scalable solutions while balancing speed, platform health, and security best practices.
• Provide hands-on development (APEX, API) and oversee code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Own engineering metrics, support SLAs, technical debt management, and Agile maturity.
• Partner with Product, Security, and Business Unit teams to deliver integrated solutions across platforms.
• Provide executive updates and drive alignment with diverse stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 2+ years as Tech Lead.
• 2+ years of people management, leading teams of 5+ engineers.
• Expertise in large systems integration, SaaS applications, and functional/object-oriented programming (JavaScript, Python, Golang).
• Strong DevOps experience (Jira, Jenkins, GitHub), with proven ability to bring structure and clarity to complex projects.
• Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I & II, Application Architect.

Nice to Have:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience/certification.
• System Architect certification, CI/CD experience, and offshore resource management.

Pay Range: $188,275—$221,500 USD (includes bonus, equity, and benefits).
