Financial Analyst (FP&A, Marketing) - coinbase

Role Overview: As a key partner in Consumer & Marketing FP&A, you will support the revenue-generating product group and marketing expenses that drive revenue and brand perception. You’ll collaborate with teams across Business Operations, Marketing, Data, Accounting, and HR to provide forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic insights to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide monthly budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting support for marketing/communications and corporate FP&A.
• Support month-end close and earnings call preparations.
• Lead finance transformation projects related to month-end processes and forecasting.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing expenses and identify performance drivers.
• Collaborate with HR and Talent Partners to forecast headcount needs.

What We Look For:

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive “Act Like an Owner” mindset.
• Confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Advanced financial skills and proficiency in Google Sheets.
• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or similar fast-paced finance roles.
• Interest in the crypto economy and Coinbase’s products.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Anaplan/Netsuite, data visualization (Superset), and coding (SQL/Python).
• Marketing finance experience.

Pay Range: $105,400—$124,000 USD + bonus, equity, and benefits.
