Role Overview: You will play a key role in increasing awareness of Coinbase's advanced trading capabilities and derivatives offering to institutional clients. Your goal is to bring on users, maximize platform volume, and contribute to the growth of our institutional business. You'll work alongside our marketing team, product managers, and senior sales team members to develop and implement strategies for regional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Marketing and Local Country Managers to promote Coinbase’s derivatives platform.
• Educate institutional clients and prosumers about our offerings.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within the Institutional team.
• Assist senior team members in client coverage, lead generation, and responding to inbound opportunities.
• Support the development of regional sales strategy and scale processes for sales and support.
• Participate in client-facing activities, including events and meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years in sales, business development, or sales & trading, preferably at a top-tier cryptocurrency exchange.
• Strong understanding of derivatives markets and products.
• Existing relationships with market makers, high-frequency firms, and trading firms.
• Proven track record of strong performance.
• High energy, eagerness to learn, and team-oriented collaboration.
• Strategic thinker with excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (as safe to do so).

Nice to Have:

• Existing client relationships (Prosumer/Institutional).
• Familiarity with marketing and outreach strategies in crypto.
• Experience with tier-1 asset managers, hedge funds, or fintech firms.
