International Communications Strategist

Coinbase is seeking an International Communications Associate to support the company's product communications strategy globally. This role involves proactive and reactive communications across various channels, collaborating with product, marketing, and other internal teams. 

The successful candidate will assist with media relations, develop communication strategies, and manage local Strategic Communication agencies in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. The position requires quick, high-quality communication under pressure and a passion for crypto and blockchain technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing international product communications strategy.
• Maintain an updated stakeholder map of media and influencers globally.
• Monitor media and provide weekly reports on communications activities.
• Manage communication agencies in various regions and help shape local strategies.
• Identify opportunities to raise the visibility of senior leadership and improve Coinbase's reputation.
• Prepare briefings and content for media engagements and product launches.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in tech/fintech communications.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Proven ability to simplify complex information.
• Experience delivering product communications and handling global launches.
• Familiarity with media and web3 channels outside the US.
• Impeccable writing skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of crypto, blockchain, and web3.

Preferred:

• Experience in crypto product communications.
• Fluency in additional languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch).
• Passion for the mission of economic freedom through crypto.

Salary Range: €93,000
