Role Overview:
We’re hiring a Senior Associate for our Internal Audit team, reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Internal Audit Manager. You’ll execute operational audits, perform data analysis, validate audit findings, and assist with annual risk assessments. This remote role requires a strong background in financial services or FinTech, with knowledge of regulatory environments and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Execute compliance and operational audits from planning to reporting.
• Review processes, test controls, and document findings.
• Analyze data and validate remediation efforts.
• Evaluate regulatory requirements and their application to Coinbase.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks and controls.
• Innovate processes and tools to enhance audit effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in risk management, compliance, consulting, or data analysis in financial services.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Google Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with crypto, blockchain, or high-security industries.
• Background in start-ups or rapidly growing organizations.
• Knowledge of crypto, payments, or financial systems auditing.

Pay Transparency:
Target annual salary: $105,400–$124,000 USD, including bonus, equity, and benefits.
