About Coinbase:

What You’ll Do:

• Develop innovative internal audit practices and execute operational and compliance audits.
• Lead AML, sanctions, and terrorist financing compliance audits with a strong grasp of global regulations.
• Create and align audit plans with enterprise risk frameworks and global standards.
• Report audit findings, ensure timely corrective actions, and validate remediation activities.
• Prepare audit reports for executive audiences and support the Audit Committee and Board.
• Build strong relationships across teams and provide value-added solutions to mitigate risks.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and ad-hoc investigations, promoting process improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: BA/BS in business, law, finance, or related fields.
• Experience: 8+ years in internal audit, risk management, or compliance; financial crime compliance expertise preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication abilities.
• Tools: Proficiency in Google Suite/MS Office; familiarity with financial services, crypto, or payments is a plus.
• Certifications: ACAMS, CISA, or similar credentials are advantageous.

Pay Range: $161,500—$190,000 USD annually, plus target bonus, equity, and benefits.
