The International Tax Manager will be a key member of our tax compliance team, focusing on non-US and US international tax matters. This role involves ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, driving process improvements, and collaborating with our finance team to optimize our global tax structure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of non-US income tax compliance, including filings, disclosures, and payments.
• Maintain the tax calendar and ensure timely submissions.
• Model tax impacts of new legislation or planning projects and implement initiatives.
• Manage Coinbase’s non-US R&D tax credits in coordination with internal and external teams.
• Support US tax examinations and respond to non-US tax authority inquiries.
• Identify and oversee process improvements in non-US tax operations.
• Prepare internal technical memoranda to support tax positions.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of tax experience, preferably at a Big 4 firm and in industry.
• Expertise in preparing and reviewing international tax returns.
• Strong communication skills to explain tax concepts to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset and adaptability.

Preferred:

• CPA or MST certification.
• Familiarity with One Source Tax Provision and Compliance tools.
• Crypto industry knowledge.

Compensation:
Annual salary: $161,500—$190,000 USD, plus target bonus, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
