Privacy Analyst

At Coinbase, we’re driven by the mission to increase global economic freedom. As we build the future financial system, we’re looking for a passionate Privacy Analyst to join our team. This role will involve working cross-functionally with Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to assess privacy control health and drive remediation.

Responsibilities:

• Test and monitor privacy controls, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Map regulatory requirements to control standards.
• Communicate progress and escalate issues to management.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, guidelines, and training materials.
• Build cross-functional relationships and advocate for privacy principles.
• Ensure continuous program maturity and automated evidence collection.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in privacy, risk management, and controls testing/monitoring.
• Strong understanding of privacy laws like GDPR, DPIA/PIA, and DSARs.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building relationships across teams in fast-paced environments.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

• Experience in FinTech or the crypto space.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and cloud technologies.
• Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP) and prior consulting experience.

Pay Range: $113,900—$134,000 USD, with target bonus, equity, and benefits.
