Senior Data Engineer- Coinbase

About the Role: As part of our Data Engineering team, you'll build and maintain data pipelines, trusted data sources, and analytics tools that empower self-serve analytics. Your work will enhance data science productivity, ensure data quality, and support automation in data processes.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines and data marts.
• Develop tools for data transformation, quality monitoring, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
• Improve self-serve analytics and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with Apache Airflow, GitHub, and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data modeling, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Bonus:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and prompt engineering for LLMs (e.g., GPT).

Compensation:

• Salary: $175,100–$206,000 USD
• Target bonus, equity, and benefits included
