Role Overview:
As a Data Scientist at Coinbase, you’ll drive decision-making through insights that influence senior leadership, investors, and key teams. You will develop frameworks, analyze data, and create models to uncover trends and shape strategy. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain competitive intelligence frameworks and track industry trends.
• Analyze data to generate insights, identify opportunities, and inform decisions.
• Present findings and dashboards to senior leadership with executive presence.
• Develop data models, pipelines, and performance metrics for forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in a quantitative field (Financial Engineering, Math, Stats, Physics, or CS) with 5+ years of experience or PhD with 4+ years.
• Proven ability to lead impactful data science projects in ambiguous spaces.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and building dashboards for high-level stakeholders.
• Experience supporting executives like CFOs and investor relations teams.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills to influence decision-making.

Pay Transparency:

• Target annual salary: $147,900—$206,000 USD (location-dependent)
• Includes bonus and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
