Senior Finance Manager - OKX

Your Role:

• Oversee finance functions including accounting, taxation, internal controls, cost management, and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare financial statements aligned with IFRS/GAAP, adjusting for crypto requirements.
• Lead communications with auditors and regulatory bodies for clear financial reporting.
• Support business development with financial forecasts and ROI analysis.
• Streamline financial processes, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Set up a monthly close process for local and consolidated accounts.
• Adapt group cost management systems to meet local needs.
• Develop finance policies and ICAAP frameworks for compliance.
• Navigate MFSA regulatory requirements and stay updated on evolving tax obligations.
• Establish local banking infrastructure and manage day-to-day financial operations.

What You Bring:

• CPA qualification and a Bachelor’s degree in finance (or similar field).
• 6+ years of experience in financial services or crypto, specializing in derivatives and other financial instruments.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and familiarity with tax regulations.
• Proactive problem-solving and ability to manage tasks independently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with cost management and AP processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with strong attention to detail.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience working across time zones and in multicultural teams.
• Previous experience at a crypto exchange and passion for blockchain technology are a plus!
