Senior Manager Communications

Coinbase is on a mission to increase economic freedom globally by building the future financial system with blockchain technology. We seek a passionate, driven communications senior manager to join our team. This role involves developing proactive communications strategies for company launches and crisis management, supporting executive communications, and managing media relations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and executing communications plans for launches and announcements
• Developing content for media, blogs, emails, and social channels
• Preparing spokespeople for media interactions
• Managing media inquiries and pitching stories
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on communications initiatives

Requirements:

• 10+ years in communications (PR agency or in-house)
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or financial services
• Strong media and social media knowledge
• Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills
• Experience working with executives
• Ability to simplify complex topics
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative team player

Nice-to-haves:

• Public affairs experience
• Existing media relationships
• Understanding of the crypto landscape and its regulations
• Interest in crypto and its potential for economic freedom

This is a remote position with a competitive salary range of $195,500—$230,000 USD, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits.
