Software Engineer, Frontend - Coinbase

What You’ll Do

• Design secure, reliable services integrating with blockchains
• Build intuitive, high-performance digital currency apps (staking, voting, etc.)
• Develop infrastructure for secure asset storage and transactions
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and leadership to shape the roadmap
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience developing web apps with JavaScript & React
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, performance, and security
• Experience shipping user-facing features and working with UI frameworks
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
• Comfortable collaborating with designers, engineers, and PMs

Nice to Have

• Experience in finance or security-related front-end teams
• 1+ year of React Native development or migration experience
• Familiarity with blockchain tech (Ethereum, ENS, dApps)

Compensation

• Salary: $152,405—$179,300 USD (varies by location)
• Includes bonus, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k))
