Software Engineer Intern

Coinbase is looking for a passionate software engineering intern for summer 2025 to help build the next generation of crypto-forward products. You will work on complex, large-scale technical challenges, bridging web-scale applications and blockchain technology, with a focus on real-time, secure, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to shape and execute the technical roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.
• Solve complex, large-scale technical problems.

Requirements:

• Experience with any object-oriented programming language (through coursework, personal projects, or work).
• Passion for creating user-focused experiences.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, or Rails.
• Experience with mobile app development using React Native.
