Role Overview: This 12-week internship will involve working with cutting-edge technologies to build next-generation crypto products and systems. You’ll address large-scale, complex technical challenges, ensuring real-time applications with high frequency, low latency updates on secure cloud infrastructure. As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll be placed within one of our five product groups or the Security organization, depending on your skills and interests.

Product Groups:

• Base: Develops seamless integrations and scalable Ethereum L2 solutions.
• Consumer: Enhances the Coinbase retail app to provide the best crypto experience.
• Developer: Builds platforms to enable crypto developers through WaaS and Coinbase Cloud.
• Institutional: Focuses on secure platforms for large financial institutions to participate in the crypto economy.
• Platform: Builds trusted, scalable foundations for multiple Coinbase products.
• Security: Develops platforms to enhance security, compliance, and privacy at Coinbase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn technical vision into roadmaps.

What We Look For:

• Programming experience (Golang, JavaScript, Ruby preferred, but not required).
• Passion for user-centric product development.
• Self-motivated and eager to grow.
• Positive, problem-solving attitude.

Nice to Haves:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, Rails, or React Native.

Compensation:

• Pay: $50 per hour.
• Full-time offers include bonus, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
