We seek a Senior Manager, Head of KYC to lead and innovate within our Financial Crimes Compliance Services (FCCS) team. Reporting directly to the Head of FCCS, you’ll shape and execute Coinbase’s global KYC strategy, ensuring regulatory excellence while driving program scalability and effectiveness.

Your Mission

• Lead the design and execution of Coinbase’s global KYC policy and strategy.
• Oversee KYC operations, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
• Act as the global subject matter expert and escalation point for KYC-related challenges.
• Collaborate across functions—AML, KYC, sales, product, engineering, and more—to implement strategic solutions.
• Manage regulatory reporting, inquiries, and enterprise-wide initiatives for KYC.
• Monitor KYC program health, presenting KPIs and updates to senior leadership.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of KYC professionals.
• Embrace ambiguity, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and foster innovative solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 10+ years in KYC program management, preferably within fintech or digital assets.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of global AML, sanctions, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., BSA, 4MLD, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker adept at navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
• Communication: Strong presence with exceptional written and verbal skills.
• Organization: Meticulous attention to detail and project management expertise.
