Staff Enterprise Architect - Coinbase

To achieve this, we’re seeking a passionate Staff Enterprise Architect to lead technology decisions, manage application ecosystems, and align business objectives with scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and governance of enterprise architecture guidelines to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical roadmaps aligned with strategic business goals.
• Oversee application portfolio health, focusing on reducing technical debt and enhancing security.
• Evaluate new applications and platforms for alignment with company policies and standards.
• Develop system diagrams that connect business value to technology.
• Contribute to an Architecture Forum and collaborate with solution architects on best practices.
• Analyze emerging technologies to assess impact on business strategy and digital capabilities.
• Support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives from assessment to execution.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, collaborating with engineers and architects.
• Strong expertise in architecture standards, documentation, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience managing technical debt and achieving architectural OKRs.
• Ability to lead high-performing teams and communicate complex concepts effectively to stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Passion for crypto, blockchain, and NFT industries.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday.
• Experience optimizing high-load systems and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in systems-level programming (Go preferred) and modern development languages.
• Expertise in data management and tools like SQL and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and tools like Git, Confluence, Jira.

Pay Range: $188,275—$221,500 USD, plus bonus and equity
