Job Application: Compensation Internship at Coinbase (Summer 2025)

As part of the Compensation team, you will support efforts to design, implement, and optimize our compensation and rewards programs. This 12-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, benchmarking, and developing innovative compensation strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Benchmark Industry Compensation: Track and analyze compensation data to ensure competitive pay structures.
• Analyze Compensation Data: Conduct detailed analysis of compensation trends within the company and market to support decisions.
• Support Pay Modeling: Collaborate on pay modeling scenarios to align with compensation strategy and business goals.

Requirements:

• Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to identify trends and extract actionable insights.
• Research Skills: Interest in researching industry compensation practices and emerging trends.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data analysis, communication, and presentation of findings.

Nice to Haves:

• Pursuing a degree in a related field.
• Familiarity with compensation software like Pave, Compa, or Aon/Radford.
• Interest in HR tech solutions and basic programming knowledge (SQL or Python).

Pay Range: $30/hour
