Work As A Financial Analyst At Coinbase

This role provides critical forecasting, variance analysis, and financial support for revenue-generating consumer products and marketing initiatives that shape our brand.

Role Overview: You’ll work closely with marketing and communications teams, providing budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to drive business decisions and enhance financial performance. You'll also partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, opportunities, and support month-end processes and quarterly earnings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting for marketing/communications teams.
• Support month-end close processes and quarterly earnings calls.
• Lead finance transformation projects and ad-hoc analyses.
• Conduct deep dives into marketing expenses to optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with HR to forecast headcount needs.

What We Look For:

• Strong financial acumen with expertise in Google Sheets and financial analysis.
• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A or a similar finance role (investment banking, asset management).
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, with the ability to collaborate and interact with senior stakeholders.
• Interest in the crypto economy and Coinbase’s mission.
• Experience with Anaplan, Netsuite, data visualization tools (e.g., Superset), or coding (SQL/Python) is a plus.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $105,400—$124,000 USD
• Bonus + Equity + Benefits
