Role Overview: The Head of Finance, Singapore will provide leadership and support in finance, reporting, and accounting for Coinbase's regulated entity in Singapore. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory reporting while fostering responsible growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial records in line with IFRS.
• Prepare financial statements, regulatory reports, and business forecasts.
• Ensure safeguarding of customer funds and oversee reconciliation procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, compliance, tax, and treasury teams.
• Report monthly management insights to the Board and oversee outsourced services.
• Manage liquidity and participate in critical projects, such as vendor transitions and system enhancements.
• Handle ad-hoc financial requests and special projects.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in finance, with experience in regulated environments like fintech, e-money, or banking.
• 5+ years in a regulated entity.
• Professional finance qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA, etc.).
• Experience with MAS and knowledge of payments, wallet products, or banking functions.
• Proven management experience and strong communication skills.
• Expertise in IFRS, FRS 102, and US GAAP.

Preferred:

• Experience with Netsuite, FloQast, or Google Suite.
• Knowledge of digital assets and the crypto economy.
• Familiarity with SQL and analytics tools like Snowflake and Looker.

Compensation:

• Annual salary: $206,000 SGD
• Target bonus, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
