About the Role

Robinhood’s AI Infrastructure team builds scalable platforms to support AI/ML development across the company. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team focused on AI/ML infrastructure, data systems, and AI tooling. You'll drive scalability, optimize model pipelines, and collaborate with teams like Applied ML, Data Infrastructure, and Fraud/Risk Engineering.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team working on scalable AI/ML infrastructure.
• Improve AI model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Optimize ML pipelines, feature stores, and real-time inference systems.
• Align AI infrastructure with business needs while ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Hire and retain top AI/ML talent.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in AI/ML infrastructure, distributed systems, and platform engineering.
• Experience with ML model serving, feature stores, and data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Ability to manage technical projects and balance trade-offs between innovation and operations.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative field with software engineering experience.

Bonus Points

• Experience in model governance and ethical AI.
• Open-source contributions.
• 1+ years managing an ML/AI team.
• 5+ years as a software engineer before transitioning to management.
