Position: Anti-Financial Crime Compliance Associate

As part of our team, you’ll support our Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Compliance program by conducting transaction monitoring, verifying sources of funds, screening for Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and sanctions, and assisting with policy development. You’ll also collaborate across departments to ensure compliance and mitigate financial crime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction Monitoring & Source of Funds Verification: Review high-risk clients, analyze financial documents, and document findings.
• PEP & Sanctions Screening: Screen clients against sanctions lists and manage enhanced due diligence.
• Policy Development: Assist in updating AML/CFT policies and procedures.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Collaboration: Work with legal, risk management, product, and operations teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or related field (legal background preferred).
• Previous experience in compliance, finance, or crypto industry a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral English skills; knowledge of other European languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
