We are looking for a Big Data Engineer to support our Data Scientists and Engineering teams. You will build frameworks and data pipelines, optimize structures, and ensure data is ready for analysis. Collaboration and staying up-to-date with industry standards are key.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with coworkers and clients to define project requirements.
• Build and optimize data frameworks.
• Test structures for usability and performance.
• Develop data pipelines from various sources (API, CSV, JSON, etc.).
• Prepare raw data for Data Scientists.
• Implement data validation and reconciliation.
• Stay current with technological advancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Big Data, or related field (Master's is a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, NoSQL (Snowflake & MongoDB a plus).
• 3+ years of experience with schema design and data modeling.
• Expertise in AWS, SQL, NoSQL, Python, Java, C++, and R.
• Experience building Data Lakes/Warehouses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
