Big Data Engineer – Token Metrics

Token Metrics, a leading cryptocurrency investment platform powered by AI and machine learning, is seeking a Big Data Engineer to support our Data Scientists and Engineering team. You'll work with various tools (SQL, Python, R, Java, C++) to build frameworks for data analysis and collaborate with team members to meet project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and clients to define project requirements.
• Build and optimize infrastructure for big data access and analysis.
• Create data pipelines from diverse sources (API, CSV, JSON, etc.).
• Prepare raw data for Data Scientists, ensuring data validation and reconciliation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years’ experience in Python, Java, SQL, NoSQL (Snowflake & MongoDB a plus).
• Expertise in schema design, dimensional modeling, and cloud services (AWS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
