Your Mission As an AFC Compliance Intern, you will assist the AFC Compliance Department in monitoring and improving compliance controls, specifically around Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and sanctions. This hands-on role will provide valuable experience in anti-financial crime operations and regulatory practices in both the financial and virtual asset sectors.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and analyze AFC compliance KPIs to ensure they align with risk management strategies.
• Support compliance activities with a focus on AML, CTF, and sanctions.
• Help develop reporting tools and dashboards to improve decision-making in AFC compliance.
• Prepare reports and presentations on data insights for senior management.
• Contribute to AFC compliance projects and strategic planning efforts.

Who You Are

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience working with data sets.
• Proficient in creating visual reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, and knowledge of Snowflake or Python is a plus.
• Interested in anti-financial crime topics such as AML, terrorism financing, and fraud.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
