Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and add new features to our existing Android application
• Following Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Agile methodologies
• Continuously monitoring and improving application reliability and optimize its performance
• Taking initiative to present and implement ideas for system improvements
• Undertaking Unit Testing and UI Automation Testing

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Android development (Java and the Android SDK, Android Studio, Android Material Design Guidelines)
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, object oriented and/or functional design and architecture knowledge
• Experience with multithreaded applications and software components like JSON parsing, REST, Web services and Web Sockets
• Ability to debug and optimize the app
• Ability to spot usability issues
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Having at least one app on Play Store or on GitHub is a plus
• Knowledge of iOS is a plus
• Good knowledge of cryptography is a plus
• Familiarity with Git
