Associate, Growth, Product Partnerships - Coinbase

Join Coinbase in our mission to expand economic freedom worldwide by building the emerging onchain platform. This role in Business Development is integral to driving growth and distribution partnerships, as well as increasing user adoption across our global markets.

As a key player, you will identify, negotiate, and execute high-impact partnerships that advance Coinbase’s mission, collaborating closely with product management and cross-functional teams to shape and implement growth strategies. You will oversee all aspects of the partnership lifecycle, from opportunity scoping and value proposition framing to negotiation and implementation, while maintaining productive relationships with partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify priority verticals and lead partnership initiatives across cross-functional teams
• Propose creative commercial structures that create value for both partners and Coinbase
• Own the entire partnership process, including opportunity scoping, partner identification, value framing, and agreement negotiation
• Collaborate with Data Science & Engineering to measure the impact of growth initiatives
• Manage partner relationships, resolving business, policy, and technical challenges

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in strategic, deal-oriented roles with global exposure (e.g., corporate development, investment banking, consulting, partnerships)
• Experience in crypto (personal or professional)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to use data for actionable insights to enhance product outcomes
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of success in fast-paced settings

Preferred:

• International experience
• Experience with growth partnerships and strategies
• Established network in relevant industry verticals (e.g., telecommunications, mobile)
