Job Application: Associate Manager, US Escalations Quality Assurance at Coinbase

To support this mission, we’re seeking a passionate Associate Manager for the US Escalations Quality Assurance Program to lead a team of QA Experts in monitoring escalations and SARs in our AML/CFT program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the US Transaction Monitoring Escalations QA Program, managing a team of Senior QA Analysts.
• Plan weekly capacities and allocate audit cases, maintaining QA procedures and metrics.
• Support compliance testing, internal audits, and regulatory exams.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, Escalations, Financial Crime Compliance, and L&D teams to optimize workflows.
• Drive data-informed decisions through impact analysis and project management.
• Identify and implement process improvements and perform root cause analysis on issues.

Qualifications:

• 6–8+ years in BSA/AML compliance, ideally in financial services, fintech, or regulatory roles.
• Professional compliance certification (ICA, ACAMS, etc.).
• Strong data analytics skills and experience managing teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of virtual currencies and blockchain analytics.
• Experience in Quality Control/Assurance, metrics, and reporting.

Compensation:

• Target annual salary: $113,900–$134,000 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
