Backend Engineer - Chatbot

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled backend developer to contribute to our AI chatbot products. This role involves designing and implementing large-scale systems to enhance chatbot performance, troubleshooting incidents, optimizing system performance, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services for AI chatbot products.
• Build scalable software impacting millions of users.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) to improve chatbot functionality.
• Optimize infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, and refactor systems as needed.
• Write clean, maintainable code and provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a relevant field with strong Java programming skills and hands-on coding ability.
• Ability to work under pressure, learn quickly, and communicate effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with design patterns, system design, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with chatbots, LLMs, Python, and data processing (Flink/Spark) is a plus.
