Database Administrator (DBA) - MongoDB/MySQL

We are looking for an experienced MongoDB or MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our database systems. This role involves designing, deploying, and optimizing databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security. You will collaborate with the development team to resolve database-related issues and implement best practices for performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain database architecture, including clusters, replica sets, and sharding.
• Monitor database performance, address alarms, and resolve bottlenecks and failures.
• Provide database design and optimization suggestions for new projects.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline database management tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, offering emergency support when needed.
• Stay updated on the latest MongoDB/MySQL developments and optimize database performance.
• Manage and maintain MySQL databases as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Over 3 years of experience managing MongoDB (mandatory) or MySQL databases, including cluster deployment, optimization, and fault recovery.
• Proficiency in Linux systems and Python programming.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with development teams.
• Ability to learn independently and quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
