Maintain and add new features to our existing desktop application
Following Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Agile methodologies
Continuously monitoring and improving application reliability and optimize its performance
Taking initiative to present and implement ideas for system improvements
Undertaking Unit Testing and UI Automation Testing
Experience
3+ years of professional experience in desktop application development
Solid understanding of the full webapp development life cycle, object oriented and/or functional design and architecture knowledge
Experience with HTML, CSS, Typescript, JSON, REST, Web services and Web Sockets. Lightweight frameworks that ease the development, testing and understanding of the web app.
Knowledge of raster and vector editing software (i.e. Photoshop and Illustrator)
Ability to spot usability issues
Ability to debug and optimize the app
Knowledge of Vue.js or AngularJS is a plus
Knowledge of security best practices

Efficient written and verbal communication skills in English
Multi-tasking ability is highly desirable
Ability to deal with high-pressure situations with grace and composure; good humor is appreciated
