Role Overview:
As Director, Prudential Policy Lead, you’ll guide BNY’s engagement with U.S. and international prudential regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and analyzing prudential regulatory developments.
• Advising senior management on regulatory issues (e.g., capital, liquidity, resolution).
• Preparing briefing materials and company positions.
• Developing and executing advocacy strategies.
• Building relationships with policymakers, peers, and trade associations.

Qualifications:

• 12–15 years in financial services, banking agencies, law, or trade associations.
• Expertise in prudential regulations (Basel standards, stress testing, liquidity).
• Knowledge of Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, SEC, BCBS, and FSB processes.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD, MBA, or finance background preferred.
