Experienced Senior Associate, Blockchain Investigator- BDO

We are seeking an Experienced Senior to lead digital asset investigations using blockchain analytics. This role involves analyzing large datasets, drafting expert reports, and supporting clients with proactive and retrospective digital asset cases. Strong knowledge of blockchain, digital asset regulations, investigative techniques, and programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL) are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate digital assets using blockchain tools to uncover illicit activities.
• Perform OSINT research and advanced data analysis to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and expert analyses.
• Address financial crime challenges like AML, sanctions compliance, and transaction monitoring.
• Supervise associates, review work, and ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Accounting, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, etc.).
• Experience investigating complex blockchain cases using tools like Chainalysis or TRM Labs.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency trends, DeFi, and obfuscation methods.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Preferred certifications: CPA, CFE, CAMS, or blockchain-specific credentials.
