Our engineering team aims to make blockchain and cryptocurrency systems accessible via mobile devices. Our primary product, Valora, is a mobile financial app on the Celo blockchain, and we seek a full-stack engineer to contribute across our technical stack.

We work with mobile, cloud, and blockchain platforms, utilizing React Native and TypeScript, and implementing smart contracts in Solidity. Our backend is deployed on cloud providers like Google Cloud, with much of our work being open source. We value a growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning over specific technical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement features across our technology stack.
• Engage in data-driven discussions to prioritize problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing to launch user-facing features.
• Enhance your engineering skills while supporting team development through design and code reviews.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with production-level React Native applications.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
• Bonus: Experience with controlled experimentation (e.g., AB testing).
