Full Time Applied Cryptographer

Quantstamp is seeking an applied cryptographer to tackle a range of cryptographic challenges, including codebase audits that implement custom cryptography. Key responsibilities include researching cryptographic protocols, particularly those relevant to zero-knowledge rollups and zk-SNARK/zk-STARK systems, for audit and client requests.

Requirements:

• Expertise in at least one zk-SNARK/zk-STARK proof system or a strong cryptography background.
• Coding skills in a major language (e.g., Python, Java, C), with familiarity in GitHub, algorithms, and data structures.
• Ability to read academic papers and communicate technical ideas.
• Partial availability during EST hours for team communication.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of ZK Rollup designs and multiple ZK proof systems.
• Experience with Solidity, Ethereum, and Circom for zero-knowledge circuits.
