Fullstack Director of Engineering – Fidelity Investments

We are seeking a dynamic Lead Software Engineer to join our innovation-focused Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) team. You will lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge software solutions, leveraging blockchain, cryptography, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build enterprise software, focusing on next-generation trading platforms.
• Write, review, and guide high-quality code while setting technical direction.
• Collaborate across teams and industry consortia to drive digital asset solutions.
• Lead team operations, including system design, stakeholder management, and mentoring.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Expertise in Golang, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java; experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of securities trading (equities, options, cryptocurrencies).
• Proven track record in full-stack development and building end-to-end systems.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
