Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Manager to lead and refine our IT security framework for the Binance platform in Luxembourg. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance, mitigating security risks, and safeguarding the platform’s operations in a dynamic, regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve the IT security function and framework in Luxembourg.
- Oversee third-party supplier compliance with security standards.
- Conduct Security Risk Management with stakeholders in alignment with our frameworks.
- Act as the Senior Manager accountable for the local Security function.
- Ensure governance, regulatory, and compliance obligations are met for security matters.
- Advise on annual IT audit plans and lead audits related to Security Risk Management.
- Drive cybersecurity assessments, penetration tests, and manage third-party integrations.
- Handle security incident management and ensure compliance with SLA agreements.
- Manage day-to-day Security Risk Management, including reporting to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Risk Functions to maintain robust Business Continuity Plans.
- Facilitate audits, penetration testing, and compliance with global and local regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity within regulatory environments, particularly in international companies.
- Senior management experience coupled with deep cybersecurity expertise.
- Active participation in the security community through publications or conferences.
- 10+ years in security and technology compliance within the finance sector.
- Expertise in global data privacy and information security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, PCI-DSS, PASSI).
- Experience in cybersecurity operations, risk management, and delivering business and technical solutions.
- Familiarity with engaging regulatory bodies and implementing their recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Certifications like ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISC2, ISACA, GIAC, or PASSI are a plus.
- Fluency in English (French is an advantage).
