Infrastructure Software Engineer - Coinbase

About the Role: 

As part of the Infrastructure team, you'll play a vital role in reinventing Coinbase’s observability stack, enabling engineers to build and maintain secure, reliable systems. Responsibilities include improving observability, automating processes to reduce operational work, optimizing cloud deployments, and enhancing reliability through collaboration across teams.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years in software engineering, skilled in Golang, Java, or C#
• Proficient in observability, debugging, and performance optimization
• Strong communicator with critical thinking skills
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Kibana, Datadog) and cloud environments (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.)

Preferred Experience:

• Building reliable systems for high-throughput, low-latency demands
• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases, crypto ecosystems, and regulated environments

Compensation: $140,900—$175,000 annually, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
