Role Overview: Internal Audit Lead
As an Internal Audit Lead, you will drive the design and execution of audit strategies related to Binance’s compliance monitorship commitments to US agencies. Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, you will oversee governance and validation efforts, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations through effective risk management and control evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute audit strategies to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of compliance deliverables tied to regulatory commitments.
- Develop a multi-year audit programme aligned with Binance's business plans.
- Collaborate with the Monitorship Liaison Office (MLO) to deliver audit plans effectively.
- Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of key controls, recommending enhancements to strengthen the control environment.
- Conduct risk-based data sampling and analytics to support audit findings.
- Ensure quality through peer reviews and adherence to Internal Audit methodology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in an analytical discipline).
- Strong background in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Investigations.
- Familiarity with prudential regulatory frameworks in major European jurisdictions; experience with capital, liquidity, or market risk is preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and within teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
- Experience navigating regulatory consent orders and complex frameworks.
- Knowledge of the crypto/digital assets industry is an advantage.
