We are seeking a Internal Auditor to join our European audit team, focusing on Technology, Third Party, and Data Risks. This role involves designing and implementing risk-based audit strategies and ensuring the execution of a comprehensive internal audit program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement audit strategies to assess Technology, Third Party, and Data Governance risks across European businesses.
- Design and execute periodic, risk-based audit plans.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of key controls and recommend enhancements to strengthen the control environment.
- Conduct risk-based analytical data sampling and deliver end-to-end audits aligned with Internal Audit (IA) methodology.
- Provide insights to align audits with industry and regulatory expectations.
- Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance processes to uphold high-quality standards across the IA function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical discipline.
- Strong understanding of Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Investigation Functions.
- Familiarity with the prudential regulatory environment in major European jurisdictions; exposure to French regulators is advantageous.
- Experience in first or second-line risk management (capital, liquidity, or market risk preferred).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively in small teams.
- Proficiency in managing data and reporting needs with a proactive and flexible approach.
- Experience in the crypto industry is a plus.
